WHAT WE DID

 BEFORE

  AFTER

After reading numerous PAMI reports from 1979, manufacturers of the 919 were made aware of room for improvement to help minimize the operator's reading errors created by the drum dial and meter movement assembly.

AS MUCH AS .5% ERROR IS INTRODUCED EACH TIME A READING IS TAKEN.

In fall of 2003, the first factory approved breakthrough in the industry removed the needle error and discontinued electronic parts with a digital reader which later received a patent. After 10 years of successful conversions, the drum dial is finally addressed and digitized for reading chart increments. The resulting combination is a... well, WE CAN LET THE METER SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

SOME OF OUR WORK

Pictured is an outdated Labtronics 919 tester with a 3" cell & dump. Manufactured from the early 1970's, it has been rendered obsolete because charts for the cell are no longer supported.

After converting to the 3.5" cell & digital reader in 2006, this meter is ready for the 21st century! The calibration is easy to set and eliminates the error in adjusting the needle's minimum point.

WITH 60% OF READING ERROR REMOVED, A PROPER STANCE IS STILL

REQUIRED FOR DETERMINING THE DRUM DIAL NUMBER.

Here is a Halross 919 tester built when it had patents pending in 1955. The cell was already updated to keep the unit in service. It was now time to help minimize the operating errors that PAMI referred to in their recommendations.

With a full digital conversion, the test results are bold, bright & easy to read from any angle. The operator's reading errors & guesswork associated with the analog system has been eliminated! Adjustments for Measuring Accurately is a Breeze.

DIGITAL DRUM READER ELIMINATES THE ERRORS DUE TO PARALLAX.

THE OPERATOR IS STILL IN CONTROL OF THE TESTING PROCESS.

This Motomco 919 with 3" cell & dump, also made in the early 1970's, lost its charm in 1985 when charts for 3" were discontinued. Instead of a new tester, the customer opted for a double conversion.

The result, a user friendly tester that delivers the accuracy that you have come to expect from your 919. Operating procedures are easier and faster to perform with digital precision at your fingertips!

A HANDS DOWN SOLUTION FOR AN INHERIT PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED

WITHOUT HAVING TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE UNIT WITH A COMPUTER MODEL!

  COMPLETE COMPATIBILITY

 BUILDING A SIMPLE SOLUTION

With very few modifications made to the Model 919 in over 65 years, this digital system is designed to conform to virtually any 919 casting. Using the existing mechanical components of your tester, the unit is cleaned and refitted with our patented digital reader & display. The operation of the meter's function is left unaffected without any new procedures to learn. We can also convert the 3" cell to 3.5" when its time.

Custom made charts for use with the Model 919 as well as charts supplied by the Canadian Grain Commission retain their compatibility as well as new ones being developed for the existing 919 technology. Regardless of the age, brand or condition of your 919, the QUANTUM 919 Digital is ready to bring it into the 21st Century.

LIFETIME WARRANTY ON OUR ELECTRONICS

  INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

Calibration of the Model 919 is set to International Standards. Keeping your 919 calibrated to this standard is easy to perform with our built-in reference point feature. Our meters are checked monthly with the Canadian Grain Commission to ensure you receive a properly tuned and calibrated unit. A unique number is given to each converted meter as a calibration reference check for when you need one.
